PAN Membership

Membership to PAN is annual, from November 1 to October 31st.  The following dues structure is in place for annual memberships  (new members joining after Beltaine can take 50% off their membership dues as they will only be paying for a partial year's membership):

Why should you join PAN?

By joining PAN you add your strength and knowledge to an increasing network of Pagans throughout Nevada.  As our strength in number grows, so shall our political strenth, thereby making it easier to affect the positive political changes that are necessary if we are to gain true religious freedom as set forth in the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.

You also become part of a network of pagans throughout the state who aspire to increase their spiritual awareness.

What can PAN do for you?

PAN is working on educating the public about what pagans really do and what we believe.  By allying yourself with other pagans in Nevada, we gain strength to overcome religious discrimination in our schools, places of work, and in the public at large.   It is our belief that religious discrimination, however subtle, is demeaning to the human spirit, and must come to a stop.

PAN also aspires to bringing pagans together for their spiritual development, education as to the various paths which Paganism takes, and social interaction.

PAN's guidelines are very broad.  The scope of the organization allows for a variety of projects, events and umbrella organizations.

The Board of Directors is always open to suggestions as to what the members want to do and get involved in.   Among the things that need to be done are general secretarial work, grant research and writing proposals, and communication with other pagan groups in the state and nation-wide.

Do you have specialized knowledge that you want to share?   Could you host an event at your home or place of business? Could you help with childcare events and meetings?   Could you chair a committee, or help with one, such as the Youth Programs Committee?  Could you get involved with outreach in the schools or businesses?  There are, as you can see, many areas to get involved.  We hope that can help us to help you and others in our community.

Where does your money go?

Currently all membership dues go to defray the costs for communication to members and events that will be approved by the members and Board of Directors.  No money goes to any individual except to reimburse that person for expenses incurred by the individual in association with approved PAN activities.
