What's Happening in June in Northern Nevada

Saturday, June 12 - 11am to 2pm - Pagan Community Meet & Greet - Bowers Mansion, 4005 U.S Highway 395 North - This multi-group event will be a fun day at the park! The groups will be providing some BBQ picnic food to share. This event is open to the community-at-large, and fliers will be posted in various places around Reno/Sparks/Carson City. Although donations will be accepted, this event is not a fund-raiser.

Friday, June 18 through Sunday, June 20 - Midsummer Camp-out - Mitchell North Camping Area (same place as Beltane) - SEWSL will be providing porta-potties and a Friday night soup meal.

Notes about Midsummer - We had looked into the possibility of using Ft Churchill for this event, to better accommodate our community members in outlying areas, but the cost-per-family is too expensive.

If you have any questions regarding these events, feel free to contact me

Merry meet...

Welcome to the Pagan Alliance of Nevada (PAN) website. We welcome all who are of a like mind. We are an organization that believes everyone has the right to their own religious beliefs. Discrimination and harassment  is not tolerated here.

Throughout history there has been oppressive and unjust treatment of pagans all over the world. We uphold confident convictions that arbitrary thought processes, preconceived notions and onerous judgments that have surrounded pagans for hundreds of years must cease; to ensure equality between pagans and other religions of the world and to promote and create a solid foundation of freedoms of religion for all people and creatures.

The Pagan Alliance of Nevada is an organization founded for the development of educational veracity on integrated ways of life, to aide and assist the weak and the poor, and to promote the rights, privileges, strengths and courage essential to create and ensure the freedoms of faith for all manner of people and creatures to exist in peace everywhere.

PAN was founded in October of 1999. Since that time, there have been a lot of revamping, trying out new ideas, but always keeping focus on the original reason for founding this organization. In 2008, Pan filed for, and was granted by the IRS non-profit status. We have tax exempt status under 501(c)(3).

The purpose of PAN shall be a non-profit corporation whose purpose is to promote and preserve religious diversity by providing education and services to all those interested in Earth and Nature based religions regardless of religious or ethnic background.
